Finished 20% project week 6

This week was the final week I worked on my twenty percent project, and I am done! This week I finished adjusting the Magic system, and I wrote out a complete explanation of it as well along math consequences for using it. That was unfortunately all I accomplished this week, I really wish that I had fleshed out the antagonist group better, and that I explained the pantheon, and history a lot clearer. I would definitely say that those were my failures. I would definitely say that my successes were how I explained the magic system, and how I explained the kingdoms of the world, and the creation story. All in all I don’t think I accomplished my goal, I think I just fell a little short of what I wanted to accomplish, but I am still happy about how it turned out. This project made me realize that no matter how much I enjoy a passion project, I prefer to just go at my own pace, with no deadlines attac

Three Favorite Memories

I have three favorite memory’s from my seventh grade year. My first memory is going to Knott’s Berry Farm with my middle school choir, I had a friend who went there often, so she showed me all the secrets at the theme park. Most notably I also rode silver bullet as my first ride that went upside down. Another favorite memory from this year was the Christmas choir concert, we got to sing Christmas songs with our friends, and singing in front of everyone. My third favorite memory was writing the free write blogs in class that we got to do occasionally, you know these as my game review series.

Almost done 20% project week 5

This week I started adding the extra details to finish up the project.I added some finishing touches too my fantasy map to make sure it looks amazing. I also wrote more about the wars that happened in dynio and starting thinking about what about my magic system needs to change. I wish that I explained the gods better this week. Next week I want to finish the magic system, and finish explaining the pantheon.

Mother’s Day

My mom is amazing at keeping me on track, with my schedules, and goals. She makes sure that I don’t forget thing when going to school, and makes sure I feel loved at home. She is my favorite woman in my life because she has been with me all my life, even when other people left.

Map done 20% project week 4

I’m excited because I accomplished a lot this week. This week I finally finished my map, I added all five of my kingdoms to the map and more, along with mountain ranges, and added different colors, referring to there biomes. The one thing this week that I feel I need to work more on is the magic system, I am still unsure of what I actually want to do with the magic system, so that is definitely the failure of this week. Next week I want to finish the magic system, have another meeting with my mentor, and work on my trifold. I’m almost done, and I am so excited.

Rad Reading April

This month I read the famous fantasy book series Keeper of the Lost City’s by Shannon Messenger.

After living with humans her whole life Sophie’s world is flipped upside down when she is told that she is an elf. In the elven world Sophie, and her friends must fix the problems the council isn’t willing too. I would recommend this book to people who like Harry Potter, or who want a long ingesting fantasy book series.

My favorite character is Elwin because he is lighthearted . Evidence that he is lighthearted is on page 121 where he says, “‘That just sounds funny coming from someone hugging a stuffed elephant.’ Her cheeks heated up, ‘I know it’s lame but—’ ‘I’m teasing. Personally I can’t sleep without stinky the stegosaurus.’” This proves that Elwin is lighthearted because he is making jokes. He makes Sophie feel less anxious because he made a joke to lighten the mood, and because he makes sure they both laugh at it.

My favorite quote is from Alden on page 84 where he’s says, “No reason to worry” the reason this is my favorite quote because it is the most classic Alden quote from the book, and is known well in the community.

A bit more 20% project week 3

This week I worked on adding more gods I added two new minor gods, one of them was the god of confusion, and the other was the gods of schoool. I did this to meet my goals for the end of the twenty percent project. Unfortunately this week I really am not happy with the amount of work I did, so I do feel like next week I really need to step up my game and finish my map, and antagonist group. To catch up on my twenty percent project goals next week I am going to make the map no matter what, and I am so close to finishing my antagonist group who go against the gods, but with a twist, and a betrayal. I want to go a tiny little bit beyond my twenty percent project a create sore wars between the kingdoms and the gods. Next week I want to finish the map, and explain the wars that happened, and explain the magic system.

Slow and steady 20% project week 2

this week I had a conversation with my mentor about the project, he showed me his old fantasy worlds, and gave me good advice on naming thing in my fantasy world. I have added rulers to all of the kingdoms, and who they are allies with, but not enemies. I also have created explanations for how the sky kingdom is alive.Unfortunately I still haven’t made a map for my fantasy world, and I am unsure about reworking the magic system. I feel like I am not making as much map progress as I would like too. The next time I work on my twenty percent project I want to finish the evil antagonist group, add a few more Gods to the pantheon, and explain them much better. I am very exited for next weeks progress, I hope that my fantasy map making website will be a lot less buggy in the future. That all I have to say see you all next week.

The Room of Laziness

My favorite room in my house is the living room. The living room is my favorite room because I spend most of my time awake there, charging my devices, and playing games with my friends. It’s also where I hang out with my adorable cat Fanta, he gets his fur everywhere though. Finally it’s where my family has movie night on the TV. which I always look forward to. Those are the reasons the living room is my favorite room in my house.

A Star Mobile Game

Now a-days it’s hard to find good, or even decent mobile games. Since most mobile games are made with the bare minimum, but with enough movement you can put it at the bottom of your video to keep people’s short attention spans fed with dopamine. For me the most popular mobile games are only fun for about a week, addicting gacha games, or pay to win live service, all of which are full of in app purchases, and micro-transactions.

However I think I have found a mobile game that can be fun without spending hundreds or thousands of dollars, Brawl Stars. I find brawl stars fun because the character progression is amazing, and the early character aren’t strictly worse then the ones you get later on. I also love that you can play with friends, and team up! Right now my favorite character is Barley who can throw cocktails that do damage over time, he is good for maps with lots of walls, Heist, and Hot Zone. Some other good characters are Bo for long range damage, Poco for healing and wide shots, and Darryl for wide range damage, especially in maps where enemies are funneled to one spot. I recommend you play this game as there aren’t that many downsides. It’s free to play, the matches are quick, and it’s never a slog to get through, so go get this shining star among mobile games. Brawl Stars.
